The annual Japan Festival in Amstelveen is a mix of authentic Japanese food and Japanese culture. The programme is made in coorperation with the Japanese community in Amstelveen

During Japan Festival, the City Square (Stadsplein) of Amstelveen is transformed into a traditional Japan Festival area, where young and old can enjoy (free of charge) a festive programme. During this day visitors can learn about typical cultural and food customs in Japan. At this festival the visitors will enjoy a wonderful stage programme, with Taiko Drums and a variety of Japanese cultural performances.

Visiting this event is also a culinary experience! The most recommended Japanese restaurants from Amsterdam, Amstelveen and the area serving their delicious traditional foods from Japan.
